Teriyaki Marinade

Another great recipe taken from “The Barbecue! Bible” by Steven Raichlen.
Ingredients
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
2 scallions, sliced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup mirin
1/4 cup sake or dry sherry
1/4 cup brown sugar
Directions
Combine the ingredients in a bowl, and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
